In order to standout you must create memorable experiences

I have said it before, and I will say it again. In today’s cluttered world, full of noise and distractions, the best way to standout and connect with your audience/fans/clients (you get the point) … It’s by creating memorable experiences.

Here is great example of how, at the end of the day, you do not need huge budgets or spectacular gadgets to accomplish this. A good idea, fully connected to the core of the message is sometimes all you need. Nicely played Coke … nicely played.

Unlock the 007 in you. You have 70 seconds!

The secret of the world’s greatest communicators

Nancy Duarte, CEO of Duarte Design is in my opinion, one of today’s top three authorities on presentations and public speaking (together with Garr Reynolds and Nick Morgan)

Her book slide:ology: The Art and Science of Creating Great Presentations (Amazon affiliate link) is an amazing guide on how to prepare, create, develop and deliver outstanding presentations.

Recently she delivered a fantastic TED Talk during the TEDxEast event, and in this remarkable presentation she makes a strong point of how the greatest communicators use stories to connect with their audience (something I was extremelly happy to watch after recently sharing in one of my previous posts entitled The Power of Stories my views on the huge impact that stories and storytelling have in our lives), and also shares her discovery on the hidden structure that the greatest communicators and persuaders have used over thousands of years. Great stuff!
