Great idea: Using video to reinvent education

As an educator and as somebody who lives and breaths social media, I am very excited to share with you this fantastic TED presentation by Salman Khan on how he is helping millions of students across the world with carefully structured series of educational videos on the Khan Academy’s YouTube channel.

According to their website, the Khan Academy has delivered over 42 million lessons to date. This is simply outstanding. Bill Gates calls this “the future of education“.

So, I strongly recommend you to watch this video and to take part on his journey to create what he calls a global one-world classroom.

Enjoy!
