The Four Mind-Sets of an Entrepreneur

Michael Gerber is one of the greatest thought leaders in the world. His book The E-Myth Revisited: Why Most Small Businesses Don’t Work and What to Do About It (Amazon affiliate link) is a must read for every entrepreneur.

I am a huge fan of Mr. Gerber and I wanted to share with you this short video in which he shares so much powerful advice and insights, I am sure you will get tons of value from it.

In it you will discover how crucial is to work “on” the business and not “in” the business, as well as the four different mind-sets of the entrepreneur. Great stuff!

Enjoy!

  1. I came across your blog via Robin Dickinson. I have read most of Michael Gerber’s books, which are both informative and very practical.

His writing style also sits very well with me, it’s both intelligent and accessible.

Look forward to reading more of your posts.

  2. Great points from Michael Gerber! Thanks for sharing Ivan. I especially like the concept of four dimensions of an Entrepreneur: Dreamer-Thinker-Storyteller-Leader.

  3. Michael Gerber is the man! One of the few entrepreneurial mentors who has something worth listening to.

    • Hi City,

Absolutely! I still remember the precise moment when I read for the first time the concept of not working “in” the business but “on” the business. So simple, so powerful.

      Cheers,

      Ivan
