Grey Group Poland: Advertising Agency of the Year

Just a short note to congratulate everybody at Grey Group Poland for achieving the Advertising Agency of the Year Award.

It has been a pleasure cooperating with them both as Strategic Development Advisor to the Management Board and lately as their Digital Strategy and Development Officer and I am very happy to be part of this success.

Once again, congratulations to Rafal Baran and all the team!

Is your message memorable?

There are too many forgettable ads in the world. Too many brands “playing it safe“. Too many organizations focusing on “30 seconds spots” and big billboards on the street.

Why not trying something different? Why not trying to create a memorable experience? Why not?

Speaking at the Chief Marketing Officer Congress

On April 25th, I will be taking part in the second edition of the Chief Marketing Officer Congress in the beautiful city of Sopot, Poland.

Last year I had the great opportunity to take part in this event, so I am very happy to go back to such a great conference. Specially that this year the Congress is part of a much larger event: The Business Sopot Festival 2012. Last year’s Congress was fantastic, and I am sure this year will be awesome.

This time I will be speaking about what it means to be at the intersection between “digital” and “traditional” marketing. I will share with the audience three important concepts to better understand what it takes to succeed in a digitally enabled world.

This year, joining the great list of more than 50 speakers, there are some very special guests coming to the event, such as Anders Sjostedt, Global Director, Executive Programs at Hyper Island and David Schwieler, Head of Digital at INGO sthlm. So, this event will be for sure a great learning opportunity for everybody attending.

I really hope to see you there!

Mercedes-Benz Key To Viano Case Study

This is a great example of an interactive outdoor event on digital advertising displays which blurred the line between classical outdoor advertising and interactive entertainment.

Under the slogan “Key to Viano”, Mercedes-Benz gave the opportunity to passers-by to control digital advertising displays using their own remote car keys.

Enjoy!

Great case study: Sleepless at Playground

Here is a very interesting case study all the way from Sweden by the guys at the Åkestam Holst agency for Playground, a specialist retailer of hiking and outdoor equipment. The video shows a very interesting (and effective) idea involving hiking athletes, social media, shopping and sleep deprivation.
